Atlanta has some of the best bars in the country, so that means the city also hosts some of the best happy hours anywhere. Happy hour or hours is a designated period of time, usually in the late afternoon or early evening, when bars or restaurants offer discounts on drinks and food. The term “happy hour” actually originated in the U.S. Navy. It was the time aboard the ships when sailors could have fun and relieve stress on long trips. The term started being used by bars and restaurants in 1960. Here are some places in Atlanta where you can blow off some steam and get some great deals on drinks and food each night of the week.
